Removal Procedure

  1. Raise and support the vehicle. Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle (ATS-V)
    2. Fig 1: Front Bumper Fascia Air Deflector - Center

  2. Remove Front Air Deflector (5) - Front Air Deflector Replacement
  3. Drain the coolant. Cooling System Draining and Filling (Static) Cooling System Draining and Filling (GE 47716)

  4. Remove Engine Coolant Fan Shroud Bolt (1)
  5. Unclip Transmission Fluid Cooler Pipe@Engine Coolant Fan Shroud (2)
  6. Remove the supports and lower the vehicle.

  8. Remove Air Cleaner Outlet Front Duct (3) - Air Cleaner Outlet Front Duct Replacement (LF4)

  9. Remove Air Cleaner Assembly (1) - Air Cleaner Assembly Replacement (LF4)

  10. Disconnect the electrical connector. (2)
  11. Remove Push Pin (1) @Engine Coolant Fan Shroud

  12. Unclip Engine Mount Vacuum Filter (1) @Engine Coolant Fan Shroud - Engine Mount Vacuum Filter Replacement

  13. Remove Engine Coolant Fan Shroud Bolt (1)
  14. Unclip Transmission Fluid Cooler Pipe (2) @Engine Coolant Fan Shroud

  15. Remove Transmission Fluid Cooler Pipe (2) @Radiator Assembly - Transmission Fluid Cooler Inlet and Outlet Pipe Replacement (LF4 With MG9)Transmission Fluid Cooler Inlet and Outlet Pipe Replacement (LF4 With M5U)
