Installation Procedure

  1. Install Engine Coolant Fan Shroud (1) @Radiator Assembly
    2. Fig 2: Radiator Inlet Hose (LF4)

  2. Install Radiator Inlet Hose (2) @Radiator Assembly - Radiator Inlet Hose Replacement (LF4)

  3. Install Radiator Outlet Hose (2) @Radiator Assembly - Radiator Outlet Hose Replacement (LF4)

  4. Install Transmission Fluid Cooler Pipe (2) @Radiator Assembly - Transmission Fluid Cooler Inlet and Outlet Pipe Replacement (LF4 With MG9)Transmission Fluid Cooler Inlet and Outlet Pipe Replacement (LF4 With M5U)

    CAUTION:

    Refer to Fastener Caution .

  5. Secure Transmission Fluid Cooler Pipe (2)
  6. Install Engine Coolant Fan Shroud Bolt (1) @Radiator Assembly and tighten 9 N.m (80 lb in)

  7. Secure Engine Mount Vacuum Filter (1) @Engine Coolant Fan Shroud - Engine Mount Vacuum Filter Replacement

  8. Install Push Pin (1) @Radiator Assembly
  9. Connect the electrical connector.(2)

  12. Install Front Compartment Front Sight Shield (4) - Front Compartment Front Sight Shield Replacement (ATS-V)
  13. Raise and support the vehicle. Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle (ATS-V)

  14. Secure Transmission Fluid Cooler Pipe@Engine Coolant Fan Shroud (2)
  15. Install Engine Coolant Fan Shroud Bolt (1) @Radiator Assembly and tighten 9 N.m (80 lb in)

  16. Install Front Air Deflector (5) - Front Air Deflector Replacement
  17. Remove the supports and lower the vehicle.
  18. Fill the cooling system to the proper level. Cooling System Draining and Filling (Static) Cooling System Draining and Filling (GE 47716) 
  19. Fill and inspect the transmission fluid level.
  20. Start the engine and inspect for leaks.
