Circuit/System Testing

  1. Ignition OFF.
  2. Disconnect the G10 Cooling Fan Motor harness connector X2 at the K22 Cooling Fan Control Module, ignition ON.
  3. Verify that the G10 Cooling Fan Motor is not operating.
    • If the G10 Cooling Fan Motor is operating 
    1. Ignition ON.
    2. Test for less than 1 V between the G10 Cooling Fan Motor harness connector terminal 1 and ground.
      • If 1 V or greater, repair the short to voltage in the circuit.
    • If the G10 Cooling Fan Motor is not operating 
  4. Replace the K22 Cooling Fan Control Module.
