1	Sealant Procedure Ensure proper use of room temperature vulcanizing (RTV) sealant. Refer to Use of Room Temperature Vulcanizing (RTV) and Anaerobic Sealant Place a 3 mm (0.118 in) bead of RTV sealant on the block pan rail and the crankshaft rear oil seal housing (1). Refer to Adhesives, Fluids, Lubricants, and Sealers (LGX) for recommended sealant.
2	Oil Pan
3	Oil Pan Bolt - M8 x 35 (Qty: 7) CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution . NOTE: Tighten the oil pan bolts in sequence shown. Tighten 25 N.m (18 lb ft)
4	Oil Pan Bolt - M6 x 150 (Qty: 4) NOTE: Install a NEW bolt. Do NOT reuse the old bolt. Tighten the bolts in the sequence shown. Tighten First Pass: 7 N.m (62 lb in) Final Pass: 180 Degrees
5	Oil Pan Bolt - M8 x 120 (Qty: 5) NOTE: Tighten the oil pan bolts in sequence shown. Tighten 25 N.m (18 lb ft)
6	Oil Pan Bolt - M8 x 50 (Qty: 2) NOTE: Tighten the oil pan bolts in sequence shown. Tighten 25 N.m (18 lb ft)
