1	RTV Sealant Procedure Ensure proper use of room temperature vulcanizing (RTV) sealant. Refer to Use of Room Temperature Vulcanizing (RTV) and Anaerobic Sealant Place a 3 mm (0.118 in) bead of RTV sealant on the block pan rail and the crankshaft rear oil seal housing (1). Refer to Adhesives, Fluids, Lubricants, and Sealers (LF4) for recommended sealant.

3	Oil Pan Bolts - Medium CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution . NOTE: Tighten the oil pan bolts in sequence shown. Tighten 10 N.m (89 lb in)
4	Oil Pan Bolt - Long NOTE: Tighten the oil pan bolts in sequence shown. Tighten 10 N.m (89 lb in)
5	Oil Pan Bolt - Short NOTE: Tighten the oil pan bolts in sequence shown. Tighten 25 N.m (18 lb ft)
