1	Timing Chain Tensioner Procedure Collapse the oil pump timing tensioner by hand and install EN-52234 or a 1/8" drill bit to hold it in place. Special Tools EN-52234 Timing Chain Tensioner Retaining Pins Equivalent regional tools: Special Tools (LGX)
2	Timing Chain Tensioner Bolt Procedure Place the chain tensioner into position and loosely install the bolt to the block Tighten the timing chain tensioner bolt. Verify the timing marks are in the correct position before releasing the drive chain tensioner. Release the drive chain tensioner by pulling out the suitable tool. Tighten 25 N.m (18 lb ft)

Timing Chain Tensioner Bolt

Procedure

Place the chain tensioner into position and loosely install the bolt to the block
Tighten the timing chain tensioner bolt.
Verify the timing marks are in the correct position before releasing the drive chain tensioner.
Release the drive chain tensioner by pulling out the suitable tool.

Tighten
25 N.m (18 lb ft)
