1	Exhaust Camshaft Position Actuator Bank 1 CAUTION: Ensure the proper camshaft position actuator is installed in the correct position. Failure to install the proper camshaft position actuator can effect engine performance and set an engine code. CAUTION: Refer to Torque Reaction Against Timing Drive Chain Caution . Procedure Use an open wrench on the hex cast into the camshaft in order to prevent camshaft rotation when tightening the camshaft position actuator bolt. Apply a liberal amount of lubricant to the back of the camshaft position actuator and front of the camshaft bearing cap. Refer to Adhesives, Fluids, Lubricants, and Sealers (LF4)Adhesives, Fluids, Lubricants, and Sealers (LGX) .
2	Camshaft Position Actuator Bolt (Qty: 2) CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution . Tighten First Pass: 20 N.m (15 lb ft) Final Pass: 45 Degrees
3	Intake Camshaft Position Active Counter Bank 1 Procedure Use an open wrench on the hex cast into the camshaft in order to prevent camshaft rotation when tightening the camshaft position actuator bolt. Apply a liberal amount of lubricant to the back of the camshaft position actuator and front of the camshaft bearing cap. Refer to Adhesives, Fluids, Lubricants, and Sealers (LF4)Adhesives, Fluids, Lubricants, and Sealers (LGX) .

CAUTION:

Refer to Fastener Caution .

Tighten
First Pass: 20 N.m (15 lb ft)
Final Pass: 45 Degrees
