Component Testing

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2017 Cadillac ATS. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
  1. Test for 266-294 Ω between the 5 V reference voltage circuit terminal 5 of the switch and signal circuit terminal 2 of the switch.
    • If not within the specified range 

      Replace the S126 Drive Mode Select switch.

    • If within the specified range 
  2. Test for 2, 640-2, 920 Ω between the 5 V reference voltage circuit terminal 5 of the switch and the ground circuit terminal 9 of the switch.
    • If not within the specified range 

      Replace the S126 Drive Mode Select switch.

    • If within the specified range 
  3. With the switch button depressed to Decrement mode, test for 447-495 Ω between the 5 V reference voltage circuit terminal 5 of the switch and the ground circuit terminal 9 of the switch.
    • If not within the specified range 

      Replace the S126 Drive Mode Select switch.
