Circuit/System Verification

  1. Ignition ON.
  2. Verify the scan tool Fuel Economy Mode parameter displays Inactive.
    • If the parameter displays Active 

      Refer to Circuit/System Testing.

    • If the parameter displays Inactive 
  3. Depress the S126 Drive Mode Select switch button.
  4. Verify the scan tool Fuel Economy Mode parameter displays Active with the switch button depressed.
    • If the parameter displays Inactive 

      Refer to Circuit/System Testing.

    • If the parameter displays Active 
  5. Operate the vehicle within the Conditions for Running the DTC. You may also operate the vehicle within the conditions that you observed from the Freeze Frame/Failure Records data.
  6. Verify the DTC does not set.
    • If the DTC sets 

      Refer to Circuit/System Testing.

    • If the DTC does not set 
  7. All OK.
