Removal Procedure

- Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle (ATS)Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle (ATS-V) .
- Disconnect the fuel tank vent hose (1) from the fuel tank vent valve hose. Refer to Plastic Collar Quick Connect Fitting Service .
- Remove the right rear wheelhouse panel liner. Refer to Rear Wheelhouse Liner Replacement (Non V-Series)Rear Wheelhouse Liner Replacement (V-Series) .
- Disconnect the fuel tank pressure sensor electrical connector.
- Remove the tie straps (1) attaching the fuel tank vent hose to the fuel tank filler pipe.
- Remove the fuel tank vent hose (4) from the fuel tank filler pipe (2). Refer to Plastic Collar Quick Connect Fitting Service .
- Remove the fuel tank vent hose (4) from the retainers (3).
- Remove the fuel tank vent hose (4) from the EVAP emission canister. Refer to Plastic Collar Quick Connect Fitting Service .
