Removal Procedure

- Relieve the system fuel pressure. Refer to Fuel Pressure Relief
- Remove the intake manifold cover. Refer to Intake Manifold Cover Replacement (LGX)
- Remove the fuel feed pipe (1) from the engine. Refer to Metal Collar Quick Connect Fitting Service
- Remove the fuel feed pipe (1) from the retainers (2).
- Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle (ATS)
- Remove the underbody front air deflector right side. Refer to Underbody Front Air Deflector Replacement - Right Side
- Remove the front body exhaust heat shield right side. Refer to Front Body Exhaust Heat Shield Replacement (Right)
- Remove the right side catalytic converter and exhaust. Refer to Exhaust System Replacement (LGX)
- Disconnect the fuel feed pipe (1) and remove from retainers (2). Refer to Plastic Collar Quick Connect Fitting Service
- Remove the fuel feed pipe (1) from the vehicle.
