Removal Procedure

- Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle (ATS)Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle (ATS-V) .
- Disconnect the evaporative emission canister purge pipe (1) from the fuel tank vent valve hose. Refer to Plastic Collar Quick Connect Fitting Service .
- Remove the right rear wheelhouse panel liner. Refer to Rear Wheelhouse Liner Replacement (Non V-Series)Rear Wheelhouse Liner Replacement (V-Series) .
- Remove the tie straps (1) attaching the evaporative emission canister purge pipe to the fuel tank filler pipe.
- Remove the evaporative emission canister purge pipe (3) from the retainers (2).
- Remove the evaporative emission canister purge pipe (3) from the EVAP emission canister. Refer to Plastic Collar Quick Connect Fitting Service .
