Removal Procedure

Remove Front Cradle Shear Plate. Refer to Front Cradle Shear Plate Replacement (V Series)

NOTE:

The crankshaft position sensor shield (2) can be repositioned while allowing it to remain attached to the engine wiring harness retainer.

Remove the crankshaft position sensor shield fasteners (1) then reposition the shield (2).

Disconnect the crankshaft position sensor electrical connector (1).
Remove the crankshaft position sensor fastener (2).
Remove the crankshaft position sensor (3).
