Installation Procedure

NOTE:

Always install the camshaft position sensor O-ring (3) supplied with the NEW camshaft position sensor. If reinstalling the sensor, inspect the camshaft position sensor O-ring (3) and replace as necessary. Lubricate the camshaft position sensor O-ring (3) with clean engine oil prior to installing the camshaft position sensor.

Install Camshaft Position Sensor (2)

CAUTION:

Refer to Fastener Caution .

Install and tighten Camshaft Position Sensor Bolt (1) to 10 N.m (89 lb in).

Connect Camshaft Position Sensor Electrical Connector (1) @ Camshaft Position Sensor (2)
Install Intake Manifold Cover. Refer to Intake Manifold Cover Replacement (LGX)
