Removal Procedure

  1. Remove Camshaft Housing Cover Insulator - Right Side. Refer to Camshaft Housing Cover Insulator Replacement - Right Side

    WARNING:

    Refer to Safety Glasses Warning .

  2. Use compressed air to remove debris from the Camshaft Position Sensor and surrounding cavities.
  3. Disconnect Camshaft Position Sensor Electrical Connector (1) @ Camshaft Position Sensor (2)

  4. Remove Camshaft Position Sensor Bolt (1)
  5. Remove Camshaft Position Sensor (2)
