Removal Procedure

  1. Remove Camshaft -Left Side. Camshaft Replacement - Left Side (LGX) 
    2. Fig 1: Valve Rocker Arm - Left Side (LGX)

    NOTE:

    If the rocker arms are to be reused, keep in order so they can be reinstalled in the same position.

  2. Remove Valve Rocker Switching Arm (1).

    If the rocker arms are to be reused, keep in order so they can be reinstalled in the same position.

  3. Remove Valve Rocker Arm (1).
  4. Refer to Camshaft Cleaning and Inspection
  5. Refer to Valve Rocker Arm Cleaning and Inspection (LGX)
  6. Refer to Valve Lifter Cleaning and Inspection (LGX)
