Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the applicable camshaft(s). Refer to Camshaft Replacement - Left Side (LF4) .
    2. Fig 1: View of Rocker Arm Assembly

  2. Remove the rocker arms.
  3. Clean and inspect the camshaft(s) and the rocker arm(s). Replace as necessary. Refer to Valve Rocker Arm Cleaning and Inspection (LF4) .
  4. Clean and inspect the valve lifters and replace as necessary. Refer to Valve Lifter Cleaning and Inspection (LF4)
