Installation Procedure

- Collapse the oil pump timing chain tensioner (3) by hand.
- Install the oil pump sprocket (2) and oil pump timing chain (4) onto the oil pump shaft.
- Install Oil Pump Drive Bolt (1) and tighten - Camshaft Timing Chain Components Installation (LF4)Camshaft Timing Chain Components Installation (LGX)
- Install Oil Pan - Oil Pan Replacement (LF4) Oil Pan Replacement (LGX, AWD) Oil Pan Replacement (LGX, RWD)
NOTE:
Engine front cover not shown for clarity.
NOTE:
Align the flat on the sprocket with the flat on the oil pump drive shaft.
