Removal Procedure

  1. Remove Engine Front Cover (9) - Engine Front Cover Replacement (LF4) Engine Front Cover Replacement (LGX) 
  2. Remove the oil pump timing chain tensioner and chain. Camshaft Timing Chain Components Removal (LF4)Camshaft Timing Chain Components Removal (LGX) .
  3. Clean and inspect all of the camshaft timing drive components. Camshaft Timing Drive Components Cleaning and Inspection (LF4)Camshaft Timing Drive Components Cleaning and Inspection (LGX) .Replace components as necessary.
