Removal Procedure

  1. Remove Front Differential Carrier Assembly - Front Differential Carrier Assembly Replacement (LGX or LF4)
  2. Drain the engine oil. Engine Oil and Oil Filter Replacement (LGX, AWD)

  3. Engine Oil Level Indicator Switch (1) »Disconnect the electrical connector.
  4. Disconnect Engine Wiring Harness Retainer (2)
  5. Remove Oil Level Indicator Tube - Oil Level Indicator Tube Replacement (LGX) 
  6. Remove Engine Mount Bracket -, and Engine Mount Bracket Replacement - Right Side (LGX - AWD) 
  7. Remove Catalytic Converter Brace Bracket- Catalytic Converter Brace Bracket Replacement (LGX)
    8. Fig 2: Lower Transmission To Engine Bolts

  8. Remove the lower transmission to engine bolts.(1)

  9. Remove Oil Pan Bolt (1-4)
  10. Remove Oil Pan (5)
  11. Remove Oil Pan Cleaning and Inspection (LGX AWD)
  12. Disassemble the oil pan as necessary. Oil Pan Disassemble (LGX AWD)
