Conditions for Setting the DTC

P2227

• The ECM detects that the difference between the BARO 1 signal and the calculated BARO is greater than 20 kPa (2.9 psi) for greater than 5 s, if the vehicle has traveled at most 2 km (1.24 mi) since the last calculated BARO update, or the ECM detects that the difference between the BARO 1 signal and the calculated BARO is greater than 25 kPa (3.6 psi) for greater than 5 s, if the vehicle has traveled greater than 2 km (1.24 mi) since the last calculated BARO 1 update .

  OR

• The ECM detects that the BARO 1 pressure is less than 50 kPa (7.2 psi) or greater than 115 kPa (16.7 psi).

  OR

• The absolute value of the difference between MAP and boost pressure is 10 kPa or less and between MAP and BARO 1 is greater than 10 kPa and between MAP and BARO 2 is 10 kPa or less and between boost pressure and BARO 1 is greater than 10 kPa and between boost pressure and BARO 2 is 10 kPa or less and between BARO 1 and BARO 2 is greater than 10 kPa.

P2228 

The ECM detects that the bank 1 BARO sensor voltage is less than 2 V for greater than 5 s.

P2229 

The ECM detects that the bank 1 BARO sensor voltage is greater than 4.5 V for greater than 5 s.

P2230 

The ECM detects that the cumulative difference between bank 1 BARO sensor readings, over a specific length of time, is greater than a calibrated threshold.
