Component Testing

Test for 266-294 Ω between the 5 V reference voltage circuit terminal 3 of the switch and signal circuit terminal 6 of the switch.
- If not within the specified range
  Replace the S86 Vehicle Stability Control switch.
- If within the specified range
Test for 2,640-2,920 Ω between the 5 V reference voltage circuit terminal 3 of the switch and the ground circuit terminal 4 of the switch.
- If not within the specified range
  Replace the S86 Vehicle Stability Control switch.
- If within the specified range
With the switch button depressed to Decrement mode, test for 447-495 Ω between the 5 V reference voltage circuit terminal 3 of the switch and the ground circuit terminal 4 of the switch.
- If not within the specified range
  Replace the S86 Vehicle Stability Control switch.
