Draining Procedure

- Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle (Base)Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle (V-Series) .
- Remove the engine compartment lower noise shield. Refer to Engine Compartment Lower Noise Shield Replacement .
- Clean any dirt from around the differential drain plug (1).
- Position a drain pan under drain plug.
- Remove the drain plug (1) from the differential and drain the fluid.
