Installation Procedure

Raise the differential carrier assembly (1) into position.

CAUTION:

Refer to Fastener Caution .

Install the differential carrier rear bolt (1) and tighten to:
- First Pass: 220 N.m (162 lb ft)
- Final Pass: plus 60 degrees

Install the 2 differential carrier front bolts (1) and tighten to:
- First Pass: 50 N.m (37 lb ft).
- Final Pass: plus 90 degrees
Install the rear wheel drive shafts to the differential carrier assembly. Rear Wheel Drive Shaft Replacement - Left Side (LCV, LF4) , Rear Wheel Drive Shaft Replacement - Right Side (LF4, LCV)
Install the propeller shaft. Two-Piece Propeller Shaft Replacement (LTG, LGX, LCV)
Fill the differential with the proper fluid. Differential Oil Replacement (195mm Axle)
Remove the supports and lower the vehicle.
