Removal Procedure

  1. Oil Pan - Remove - Oil Pan Replacement (AWD)Oil Pan Replacement (FWD)
  2. GM4848111

    Disconnect the oil pump flow control solenoid valve harness electrical connector (1) from the oil pump flow control solenoid valve.

  3. Remove the oil pump flow control solenoid valve harness (2) from the retainer (3).

    Remove the oil pump flow control solenoid valve harness (1) from the crankshaft oil deflector retainers (2).

  5. GM4848113

    Disconnect the engine wiring harness electrical connector (1) from the oil pump flow control solenoid valve harness connector.

  6. GM4848114

    Remove the oil pump flow control solenoid valve harness bolt (1).

  7. Remove the oil pump flow control solenoid valve harness connector (1) and guide the harness through the hole in the engine block.
