Preliminary Procedures Disable the SIR system. Refer to SIR Disabling and Enabling .
1	Windshield Pillar Assist Handle Cover (Qty: 2) Procedure Insert small blade screw driver into service notch and carefully remove upper and lower assist handle covers.
2	Windshield Pillar Assist Handle Fastener (Qty: 2) CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution . Tighten 9 N.m (80 lb in)
3	Windshield Garnish Molding Assembly Procedure Pull inward at the top to disengage upper attachment clip. Pull upward to disengage from the instrument panel. For installation, ensure tabs are fully seated in I/P upper trim panel prior to engaging upper retainer.
