Disable the SIR system. Refer to SIR Disabling and Enabling .

Windshield Garnish Molding Assembly

Procedure

Pull the top of the A-Pillar inward to disengage the upper clip.
Carefully remove the tether from the dog house.
Pull upward to disengage from the instrument panel.
The tether clip at the center portion of the garnish molding MUST be replaced every time the windshield garnish molding is removed.
