Transmission Case Front Cover and Drive Link Removal

1	A/Trans Front Cover Bolt M6 x 30 (Qty: 11) NOTE: DISCARD the bolts.
2	A/Trans Front Cover Procedure NOTE: There are 2 different front cover configurations. Early design front covers have 3 threaded holes for service, late design front covers have 2 threaded holes. Use two GE-6125-1B slide hammers and DT-51791 slide hammer adapters in the threaded holes of the front cover to remove it from the case for applications with 3 threaded holes. Use the GE-8433 puller bar and 2 bolts in the threaded holes of the front cover to remove it from the case for applications with 2 threaded holes. Special Tools DT-51791 Slide Hammer Adapters GE-6125-1B Slide Hammer GE-8433 Puller Bar For equivalent regional tools, refer to Special Tools .
3	A/Trans Front Cover Seal NOTE: DISCARD the seal.
4	Drive Sprocket Thrust Washer (Front)
5	Drive Sprocket
6	Drive Link Assembly
7	Drive Sprocket Thrust Washer (Rear)
8	A/Trans Front Support Cover Gasket NOTE: Remove and DISCARD the gasket.
