Action Taken When the DTC Sets

P2808

P2808 is a Type B DTC.
TCM disables transmission adapts learning and freezes current adapt values.
TCM inhibits TCC.
TCM inhibits maximum gear when in hot mode.
TCM inhibits maximum gear when not in hot mode.
TCM commands hot mode transmission shifting pattern.

P2809

P2809 is a Type A DTC.
TCM disables transmission adapts learning and freezes current adapt values.
TCM commands TCC apply.
TCM commands hot mode transmission shifting pattern.
TCM limits the amount of line pressure.
TCM requests the ECM to limit amount of torque according to each gear ratio.
TCM requests the ECM disable neutral idle.
TCM requests the ECM to disable auto stop function.
