Circuit/System Description

The transmission control solenoids in this transmission require unique electrical current vs. oil pressure performance matching data values in order to function at maximum performance and efficiency. This data is programmed and stored in the vehicle's transmission control module (TCM). When a transmission assembly, transmission control solenoids, or TCM is replaced, the TCM must be programmed with the new or existing solenoid performance data.
