Conditions for Setting the DTC

P171A 

The ECM detects an open circuit on the transmission accumulator solenoid control circuit for 1 s.

P171B 

The ECM detects a short to ground on the transmission accumulator solenoid control circuit for 1 s.

P171C 

The ECM detects a short to power on the transmission accumulator solenoid control circuit for 1 s.
