Installation Procedure

NOTE: The new replacement wiring harness may not have electrical connector (2). It will be a one piece harness.

NOTE: Be sure to remove any labels used to mark and identify the connectors during removal.

Install automatic transmission control wiring harness (4).
If necessary, install the control valve body to the transmission. Control Valve Body Replacement (M5N)
Connect the wiring harness clips to the valve body and case.
Connect the transmission control wiring harness connectors.
If equipped, ensure the valve body connector retainer (3) is latched.

Install the NEW transmission fluid filter (4). Refer toAutomatic Transmission Fluid, Fluid Pan and/or Filter Replacement (Rear Wheel Drive) Automatic Transmission Fluid, Fluid Pan and/or Filter Replacement (All Wheel Drive) .
