Rear Seat Cushion Removal and Installation (Coupe)

1	Rear Seat Cushion Retainers (Qty: 2) Procedure Pull up on the front of the seat cushion to disengage the retainers, and lift out of the vehicle. A high amount of upward force will be required. After removal of the retainers, the sheet metal will be slightly deformed outward. Use a small hammer and pound the sheet metal back to its original, flat appearance.
2	Rear Seat Cushion Procedure When re-installing the seat, the hooks at the rear of the seat must go over and behind the mushroom clips at the rear of the floor. When installing new plastic retainers on the front of the seat, ONLY seat the retainer to the first click, otherwise the insertion force into the sheet metal will be greatly increased.
