Circuit/System Testing

  1. Verify the conditions listed below do not exist. Carefully inspect each component for that condition. Repair or replace as necessary.

P2817 or P2818 - Control Valve Solenoid Body 

Transmission Control Solenoid Valve 8 stuck/sticking-debris, binding, damage valve.

P2817 or P2818 - Control Valve Upper Body 

Default valve stuck/sticking - debris, binding, damage valve, scored bore.

P2817 or P2818 - Default Valve 

Fluid circuits - plugged with debris, or leaks due to missing or damage O-rings, seals, or gaskets.
