Circuit/System Testing

  1. Verify the conditions listed below do not exist. Carefully inspect each component for that condition. Repair or replace as necessary.

P2808 or P2809 - Control Valve Solenoid Body 

Transmission Control Solenoid Valve 7 stuck/sticking-debris, binding, damage valve.

P2808 or P2809 - Control Valve Solenoid Body 

TCC Control Valve stuck/sticking-debris, binding damage valve.

P2808 or P2809 - Control Valve Upper Body Assembly

P2808 or P2809 - Torque Converter Assembly 

Torque Converter clutch piston seals missing or damaged.

P2808 or P2809 - Torque Converter 

Fluid circuit - plugged with debris, or leaks due to missing or damage O-rings, seals, or gaskets.
