Circuit/System Verification

NOTE:

P27A7, P27AE, P27A9, P27AA, P27AB, P27AC and P27AD are informational DTCs.

NOTE:

Solenoid performance data is only available for the variable force solenoids, not the On/Off solenoids.

  1. If the T12 Automatic Transmission Assembly was replaced.
    • Obtain the solenoid performance data for the variable force solenoids from the TIS Service Information web site. Program the data into the existing K71 Transmission Control Module. Perform the Transmission Service Fast Learn Procedure.
    • If the T12 Automatic Transmission was not replaced.
  2. If the K71 Transmission Control Module was replaced.
    • Obtain the existing solenoid performance data for the variable force solenoids from the TIS Service Information web site. Program the data into the new K71 Transmission Control Module. Perform the Transmission Service Fast Learn Procedure.
    • If the K71 Transmission Control Module was not replaced.
  3. If 1 or more of the variable force solenoids were replaced.
    • Obtain the solenoid performance data form the TIS Service Information web site for the new solenoids. Program the data into the existing K71 Transmission Control Module. Perform the Transmission Service Fast Learn Procedure.
