Conditions for Setting the DTC

P176B Condition 1 

TCM has detected the transmission intermediate speed sensor signal of 20 RPM or greater in 1st, 2nd or 3rd gear.

Condition 2 

TCM has detected the transmission intermediate speed sensor signal gear slip of 20 RPM or greater in 3rd, 4th, 5th, 6th, 7th or 8th gear.

P176C 

TCM has detected a low transmission intermediate speed sensor signal of 0.25 V for 0.05 s.

P176D 

TCM has detected a high transmission intermediate speed sensor signal voltage of 4.75 V for 0.05 s.
