Circuit/System Verification

  1. Ignition On.
  2. Verify the scan tool 9 V Reference 1 Circuit Status parameter does not display Malfunction.
    • If Malfunction is displayed 

      Refer to Circuit/System Testing.

    • If Malfunction is not displayed 
  3. Verify the ISS/OSS supply voltage parameter does not display Out of Range.
    • If Out of Range is displayed 

      Refer to Circuit/System Testing.

    • If Out of Range is not displayed 
  4. Road test the vehicle.
  5. Verify the scan tool transmission intermediate speed sensor parameter increases with wheel speed and does not drop out.
    • If the transmission intermediate speed sensor parameter does not increase with wheel speed or drops out 

      Refer to Circuit/System Testing.

    • If the transmission intermediate speed sensor parameter does increase with wheel speed and does not drop out 
  6. Operate the vehicle within the Conditions for Running the DTC. You may also operate the vehicle within the conditions that you observe from the Freeze Frame/Failure Records data.
  7. Verify the DTC does not set.
    • If the DTC sets 

      Refer to Circuit/System Testing.

    • If the DTC does not set 
  8. All OK.
