Circuit/System Verification

  1. Ignition ON, verify the scan tool Driver Shift Control Mode parameter changes from Inactive to Active while placing the S3 Transmission Shift Lever into the manual mode position.
    • If Active is not displayed 

      Refer to Circuit/System Testing.

    • If Active is displayed 
  2. Verify the scan tool Up and Down Shift Switch parameter displays UP when pressing the plus (+) switch and Down when pressing the minus (-) switch.
    • If the parameter does not display the correct value 

      Refer to Circuit/System Testing.

    • If the parameter does display the correct value 
  3. Operate the vehicle within the Conditions for Running the DTC. You may also operate the vehicle within the conditions that you observed from the Freeze Frame/Failure Records data.
  4. Verify the DTC does not set.
    • If the DTC sets 

      Refer to Circuit/System Testing.

    • If the DTC does not set 
  5. All OK.
