Driver or Passenger Seat Removal and Installation

WARNING:

Refer to SIR Warning .

Preliminary Procedures

  1. Disable the SIR system. Refer to SIR Disabling and Enabling .
  2. Disconnect the seat belt from the tensioner. Refer to Front Seat Belt Retractor Replacement
1 Front Seat Adjuster Finish Cover Bolt Cap (Qty: 2)
2 Driver or Passenger Seat Bolt (Qty: 4)
CAUTION:

Refer to Fastener Caution .


Tighten 
45 N.m (33 lb ft)
3 Driver or Passenger Seat

Procedure

  1. Disconnect the electrical connector.
  2. With the aid of an assistant, remove the front seat.
  3. Transfer components as necessary.
  4. Enable the SIR System. Refer to SIR Disabling and Enabling .
