Preliminary Procedure Open and support the hood.
1	Windshield Wiper Arm Nut Cap Procedure Use a small flat-bladed tool, release the finish cap from the wiper arm.
2	Windshield Wiper Arm Nut CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution . Tighten 38 N.m (28 lb ft)
3	Windshield Wiper Arm Procedure Grasp the outer end of the wiper arm and gently rock the arm back and forth, while holding the wiper arm blade off the windshield. Remove the windshield wiper arm from the pivot shaft. Clean the pivot shaft knurls with a soft wire brush before installing a new windshield wiper arm. Align and position the wiper arm on the wiper motor pivot shaft. Align the windshild wiper arm. Windshield Wiper Arm Adjustment
