Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the evaporative emission (EVAP) canister. Refer to Evaporative Emission Canister Replacement .
  2. Rotate the EVAP canister vent valve clockwise to release from the locked position.

  3. Remove the vent valve from the EVAP canister.
