Installation Procedure

WARNING: This page is about a different variant/trim than selected.
  1. Ensure the stage 1 alignment position to the stage 2 alignment position is correct. Refer to Camshaft Timing Chain Components Installation .
  2. Install the right side secondary camshaft intermediate drive chain. Refer to Camshaft Timing Chain Components Installation .

  3. Install the right side secondary camshaft drive chain guide (1) and shoe (3). Tighten bolts (2 and 4) to 25 N.m (18 lb ft).
  4. Install the right side secondary camshaft drive chain tensioner. Refer to Camshaft Timing Chain Components Installation .
  5. Install the engine front cover. Refer to Engine Front Cover Replacement .
