Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the engine front cover. Refer to Engine Front Cover Replacement .
  2. Remove the right side camshaft timing chain components. Refer to Camshaft Timing Chain Components Removal .

  3. Remove the primary camshaft drive chain. Refer to Camshaft Timing Chain Components Removal .
  4. Clean and inspect all of the camshaft timing drive components. Refer to Camshaft Timing Drive Components Cleaning and Inspection
