Conditions for Setting the DTC
Condition 1 - Idle Test
The low side fuel pressure is at least 0.8 MPa (116 psi) less than the high side fuel pressure or the high side fuel pressure is at least 0.3 MPa (44 psi) greater than the low side fuel pressure with the high pressure fuel pump actuator commanded OFF. The condition exists for greater than 3 s.
Condition 2 - High Fuel Demand Test
The measured fuel rail pressure is at least 2 MPa (290 psi) less than the calibrated relief pressure for greater than 3 s.
Condition 3 - Low Fuel Demand Test
The difference between the desired fuel rail pressure and the actual fuel rail pressure is greater than 2 MPa (290 psi) for 3 s.
Condition 4 - Stuck Sensor Test
The difference between the measured maximum high pressure and the measured minimum high pressure is less than or equal to 0.1 MPa (14.5 psi) for greater than 10 s.
