Preliminary Procedure Drain the cooling system. Refer to Cooling System Draining and Filling (LFX) . Remove the intake manifold cover. Refer to Intake Manifold Cover Replacement . Remove the fuel pipe shield. Refer to Fuel Pipe Shield Replacement
1	Heater Outlet Hose
2	Heater Inlet Hose
3	Surge Tank Hose
4	Radiator Outlet Hose
5	Bolt (Qty: 3) CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution . Tighten 10 N.m (89 lb in)
6	Engine Cooling Thermostat Housing Tip: Clean the engine block and thermostat gasket surfaces. Replace the gasket and any worn hoses.
