Quarter Lower Rear Trim Panel Replacement (Acadia with TB4)

Callout Component Name

Preliminary Procedures

  1. Move the rear seat to the full forward position.
  2. Remove the rear number 2 seat . Refer to 3rd Row Seat Removal and Installation .
  3. Remove the rear quarter upper trim panel. Refer to Quarter Upper Trim Panel Replacement (TB4) .
  4. Disconnect the liftgate actuator rod from the liftgate. Refer to Liftgate Actuator Rod Replacement .
  5. Disconnect the rear seat number 2 shoulder belt anchor bolt. Refer to 3rd Row Seat Retractor Side Belt Replacement .
  6. Remove the liftgate door sill plate. Refer to Liftgate Door Sill Plate Replacement (Acadia) .
1 Cargo Tie Down Loop Bolt Cap (Qty: 2)
2 Cargo Tie Down Loop Bolt (Qty: 2)
CAUTION:

Refer to Fastener Caution .


Tighten 
3 N.m (27 lb in)
3 Cargo Tie Down Loop (Qty: 2)
4 Body Side Trim Panel Armrest
Procedure 
Pull upward on the armrest to disengage the retainer clips.
5 Cargo Screen Retainer Assembly (Qty: 2)

Procedure

  1. Turn the left front and right rear cargo screen retainer counterclockwise one quarter turn to disengage the 2 integral tabs.
  2. Turn the left rear and right front cargo screen retainer clockwise one quarter turn to disengage the 2 integral tabs.
6 Rear Quarter Lower Trim Panel Bolt (Qty: 2)
Tighten 
3 N.m (27 lb in)
7 Rear Quarter Lower Trim Panel Assembly

Procedure

  1. Pull outward to disengage the trim panel retainers.
  2. Disconnect the electrical connectors.
