Headlamp Replacement (Traverse)

Callout Component Name
Preliminary Procedure 
Remove the front bumper fascia. Refer to Front Bumper Fascia Replacement (Traverse) .
1 Headlamp Bolt (Qty: 4)
CAUTION:

Refer to Fastener Caution .
2 Front Bumper Fascia Brace Bolt
CAUTION:

Refer to Fastener Caution .
3 Headlamp Horizontal and Vertical Adjustment Nuts (Qty: 2)

Procedure

  1. Set the cam adjusting nuts to the nominal setting of 6 turns off fully seated prior to installing the new headlamp.
  2. Check the front bumper fascia to headlamp finish fit and adjust the cam nuts accordingly to achieve an even fit.

Procedure

  1. Pull forward and up to remove the headlamp.
  2. Disconnect the electrical connector.
  3. Remove the headlamp from vehicle.
  4. Aim the headlamp after replacement. Refer to Headlamp Aiming
