Center Pillar Upper Garnish Molding Replacement

Callout Component Name

Preliminary Procedures

  1. Disable roof rail SIR system. Refer to SIR Disabling and Enabling .
  2. Remove center pillar lower garnish molding. Refer to Center Pillar Lower Garnish Molding Replacement .
1 Center Pillar Upper Garnish Molding Cover
2 Center Pillar Upper Garnish Molding Screw
CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution .

Tighten:  2 N.m (18 lb in)

3 Center Pillar Upper Garnish Molding Assembly
Tip: 
  1. Remove seat belt D-ring from the adjuster assembly.
  2. Pull garnish molding toward inside of the vehicle to disengage the retainers.
  3. Align 4-way locator to center pillar before engaging retainers.

Tighten:  35 N.m (25 lb ft)
