23. Engine Front Cover Removal

Engine Front Cover Removal




1. Remove the 7 mm center bolt (1) first.
2. Loosen the engine front cover bolts.
3. Remove the engine front cover and bolts.
4. Remove and discard the plastic bolt retainers if present.




5. Remove the spacer bolt.

Important: The friction washer may have come off with the crankshaft balancer.


6. Remove the crankshaft balancer friction washer from the crankshaft snout.
